About Steve and Kim

Mission and Vision

“Already but not yet” is a description of God’s kingdom here on earth. In spite of good advances by the government in recent years, suffering from natural disasters and generational poverty make it easy to see how most Nicaraguan Christians focus on the "not yet" portion of the kingdom. Yet, slowly a new view is setting in as the Nicaraguan church discovers that Christ claims all of creation as His, now and in the future.

Steve works primarily with the Nehemiah Center is, a community of service and learning which trains lay and pastoral leaders in a biblical worldview and encourages local, national, and international collaboration for Christ-centered, transformational development of communities and nations. In short, the Nehemiah Center exists to help Nicaraguans and North Americans further understand the “already but not yet” of God's kingdom.

  • Cohort and Service and Learning: Promote relations between evangelical churches in Nicaragua, the United States and Canada.
  • Evangelical Youth Leaders: Develop the evangelical youth leadership through evangelism, training and theological formation to strengthen the Nicaraguan Evangelical Church.
