Samson Makhado, the director of ACSI South Africa explains Christian education using an analogy of a tree. Christian Education in North American has deep roots but the leaves are beginning to turn brown while Christian education in Africa has green flourishing leaves, but the roots are not deep. Through partnering with ACSI Nigeria, she hopes to build mutual relationships with educators in order to deepen the roots of Christian education in Nigeria. Although Dami is not employed by Resonate Global Mission, he works part time as a content developer and preacher with City Church in Lagos. The vision of City Church is to catalyze a Gospel-centred movement that renews the city of Lagos spiritually, socially and culturally. He is also working in the Arts and Entertainment industry with the desire to help Christians to have a deeper understanding of how their faith is played out in this industry in Nigeria. Mission Work Sarah’s primary focus with ACSI Nigeria is to coordinate the PATHS to School Improvement programme. This is a two-year school improvement programme where school leaders are professionally enabled to engage in a continuous school improvement process that is internationally benchmarked to appropriate and attainable standards, resulting in authentic Christian schools. She also works on coordinating and creating trainings with her colleagues in the office to strengthen Christian schools and equip Christian educators. Dami’s role as the creative team lead is to come up with creative ways to carry out the church’s vision through programming. He is also involved on the preaching team. Dami is currently building a network within the arts and entertainment industry here in Lagos and developing the gift of writing and speaking that God has blessed him with.
