David and Blanca Gifford

Vision and Mission

Our vision is to see young adult and lay leaders in Mexico City equipped with adequate tools, skills and knowledge for ministry. To this end, Dave engages in teaching, preaching, training, and mentoring in various contexts. He also develops and publishes free Spanish materials for Christians. Dave is also the team leader for Resonate's Mexico field.

Mission Work

Dave teaches New Testament at the Reformed Presbyterian Seminary in Mexico City, mentors students and assists in training and acquisitions for the seminary library. He preaches and teaches at the church that he and his family attends. He also leads training workshops on request for leaders of campus ministries, and is a Timothy Institute master trainer. His website,  https://giffmex.org/wiki/, contains thousands of pages of free Spanish materials that he writes and publishes for Christians on New Testament topics and on other topics related to Christian living and ministry. Dave's work as team leader for the Mexico field facilitates the ministry of the other Resonate missionaries in Mexico.

After our 2022 Reconnect, Blanca plans to reactivate her evangelistic children's club at the church they attend. She currently encourages the ladies of the church through visits, calls, texts and prayer. And Dave and Blanca host game nights to encourage female Mexican missionaries.

Dave and Blanca have two adult children, Daniel and Alexandra, who live with them in Mexico City.
