Called to be a Witness

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witness”

ACTS 1:8

Jesus tells us, “you will be my witnesses.” But what does it mean to be a witness for Christ? 

Think of it like this: our amazing, all-powerful God has a plan to use you and your life to point others to Jesus! God wants us to join him to save the lost and renew all of creation. 

What’s more, we are not alone. Jesus gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit and a call not only to us as individuals, but to us as a church. The work of mission is not just for a select few, but an important calling for all of us.
