About Tony and Allison
Vision
Allison had a dream to teach Missionary Kids for many years and after completing a degree in math education, God led her to Rain Forest International School (RFIS) in Cameroon in 2008. Tony was called into ministry after college and following Seminary, he accepted a short-term ministry assignment in Cameroon in 2013, where he heard about RFIS and their need for a Bible teacher, which he was able to fill the following year. He has also recently taken on the Chaplain role for the school. Both Tony and Allison enjoy working with youth and are thankful to be able to share the love of Christ with students from all over the world.
Mission
Rain Forest International School was founded to keep missionaries in Central Africa on the field by providing quality Christian education for their children. Many families were struggling when their children reached secondary school age because there were no educational options that would prepare their children for life in their passport countries. Tony’s work teaching Bible and serving as school Chaplain and Allison’s teaching Math, allow the parents of our students to continue translating the Bible, planting churches, and providing medical services, IT, aviation support, and more.
Additionally, the school serves international business families and local families who desire a Western Christian Education for their children. Many of our students come from backgrounds that could enable them to be future leaders of their countries and we are so thankful to have the opportunity to pour into their lives. Seeing God work in the lives of students to draw them to himself is one of the highlights of our ministry. The mission statement of the school is: “Students prepared for the next stage of life." Our former students are serving God in medicine, engineering, education, missions, and more.
