Rich Braaksma

Rich is the Regional Mission Leader for Western Canada. Experience in church planting, pastoring as well as coffeehouse ministry has equipped him well to this role. He loves the opportunity to be present to so many different contexts and so many unique expressions of God’s mission in Western Canada.

 

Rick Abma

Rick is based in Lacombe, AB. He is the founder of Good Neighbour Coffee. Rick engages in teaching, preaching, broadcasting and roasting coffee.  It all relates to “going and making disciples” and “loving your neighbour” in the context of loving God.  His favourite part is the actual loving of his own neighbours and going into other peoples neighbourhoods with his trailer BBQ or espresso bike.

Jessica Boy

Jessica’s role is to help others find their place in “mission” as Canada’s Mission Resource and Placement Coordinator for Resonate Global Mission. Prior to coming on board with Resonate in 2016, she lived and worked as a missionary and counsellor in remote west coast Canadian communities.  Physically, emotionally or spiritually, her heart is to help others get to where they’d like to be. She works remotely from her Nanaimo, BC home office.

Albert Chu

Albert is the lead pastor of the Tapestry Church.  He is passionate about creating space for people of all backgrounds, age, disability, social strata, and ethnicity to discover Jesus.  Sensing God’s call to plant a multi-racial church in Richmond back in 2004, there are now four Tapestry Campus’ in the Lower Mainland.

Anne Duifhuis

Anne lives in Vancouver, where working part time for Resonate, First CRC Vancouver and BC Leadership Network adds up to full time hours in a fabulous integrated yet scattered way. She values connecting people - family, friends, church members, strangers and refugees alike.

Bruce Gritter

Bruce Gritter has been a pastor and church planter in Western Canada for 28 years. Bruce is passionate about creative leadership, church multiplication, and helping churches connect with their communities. Through Resonate, Bruce dreams of a fresh entrepreneurial spirit taking hold of the church in Western Canada such that thousands of Canadians of all walks of life experience the love of Jesus and the transforming power of his grace.

Janina Krabbe

Janina is a bivocational pastor working in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside with Mosaic Church Where they create an environment of hospitality and welcome together as a community of people from all walks of life. When she's not drinking coffee with people at Mosaic, she works as a UBC Research Manager. 

Joe Hamilton

Joe is currently serving as the pastor of Redeemer CRC in Sarnia. Joe is passionate for renewal and revitalization. He isn't interested in the numbers, but healthiness of a one's heart! Healthy hearts lead to vibrant lives! Joe is ready and willing to support, encourage, and empower anyone seeking the same!

Fred Sutherland

Fred lives in Abbotsford, BC with his family of 5 and serves as a Short-term mission Mobilizer with Multiply. His primary area of missional focus is running discipleship-on-mission programs of varying lengths that help mobilize and equip young leaders for a lifetime on mission. He is passionate about leadership development, gospel fluency, and worship ministry. Fred and his family attend New Life CRC in Abbotsford where they serve in various areas of lay ministry.

Karen Wilk

Karen is a ‘Go Local’ Catalyzer and member of the Missional Innovation Team of Resonate Global Mission. She is also a National Team Member of Forge Canada’s Missional Training Network, leading their Neighbourhood Life initiatives and Edmonton hub.  She pastors N.E.W. (Neighbourhood Engagement Workers’) Community and is President of her neighbourhood Community League and very involved in the Abundant Community Edmonton (ACE) Initiative. She has been a vocational pastor in Edmonton for over 30 years and has a doctorate in Missional Leadership from Northern Seminary (Chicago). She loves discovering what God is up to in neighbourhoods and catalyzing the body of Christ to join the Spirit on God’s mission right where they live.
