About this Campus Ministry
Jabez Ministries serves students with disabilities by equipping them to be ministers for Christ.
Jabez served 10 years on the campus of Grand Rapids Community College and since January 2023 we’ve established a presence on the campus of Grand Valley State University.
The ministry includes a drop-in Siloam Fellowship Table to encourage community and discipleship between students with disabilities and those without.
There is also a weekly Bible study and prayer meeting in a local supporting church which brings together students and the community as they minister to one another.
Daily group discussions are encouraged for students to engage with each other pastorally and to develop a world and life view they can take with them beyond the walls of the campus.

This is a ministry that lives out the teaching of our lord found in Luke’s gospel, chapter 14, that affirms that Gods kingdom is open to all, including those with disabilities who become its fulfillment of Our Lords words: “so that my house will be full.” (Luke 14:23.b)
