Tesoros de Dios is in need of a volunteer who can help to improve different areas of technological needs. Tesoros de Dios works with kids with disabilities and uses databases to keep track of different information.
We are in need of somebody who can help to make these databases more useful and efficient for our needs. We also need support cleaning out different computers and making sure anti-viruses are all up-to-date, as well as to update our networks, security camera, and printer connections.
- Update and clean out different computers on campus.
- Review and improve security camera setup.
- Help staff to improve, use more efficiently, or create different databases related to numbers of children served and services offered.
- Train staff members in the area of technology.
- Review & improve networks, internet connections, and printer connections.
- Systems Engineer or related studies
- Knowledge of IT systems
- Basic Spanish (preferred)
God’s Treasures (Tesoros de Dios) is a non-profit organization that exists to equip individuals with disabilities to reach their fullest potential. The mission is to support the holistic development of children and youth with disabilities in Nicaragua and build partnerships with families, schools, churches, and communities.
This is done in a number of ways, including providing weekly services on site in special education, early intervention, physical & occupational therapy, horse therapy, speech & language for around 150 children & adolescents, as well as through an outreach program, working with schools, churches, and communities around Nicaragua, for the inclusion of people with disabilities.
