Resonate Cohort is a year-long opportunity for young adults to live in community, serve in a grassroots ministry, and engage in deep spiritual formation.

The vision of the Cohort is to grow generations of Jesus-followers equipped and motivated to serve with and learn from communities in hard places. In this opportunity, you will be equipped and discipled for transformative lifelong mission alongside other young adults who are passionate about following Christ. You will form lifelong friendships as you train and serve together.

You will live and work with members of partner churches in marginalized neighborhoods of Detroit, Michigan. We’ll pair you with an experienced mentor who will guide you through a year of growth and exploration as you navigate your own vocation and role in the city and beyond.

Cohort Detroit is an opportunity for a diverse group of young adult leaders serving at similar ministries and non-profits across the city. As members of the Cohort, participants will grow in community leadership, build intercultural friendships, and participate in learning conversations at the intersection of Christian service, racial justice, and vocation.

Resonate staff will work with you to determine a suitable service placement based on your gifts and interests. Recent examples of placement include:
