About Laura and Henry

Vision

Historically the mission ranks of the CRC have been missing a vital African American presence. Sins of colonialism, slavery, and racism have led to separation and brokenness in the African diaspora (the dispersion of any people from their original homeland) and limited access to mission opportunities. It is our desire to intentionally invite African Americans to global missions, and to be agents of healing and reconciliation throughout the diaspora, our initial focus in West Africa, starting with Liberia.

Mission

We exist to build unity in the African Diaspora, we will do this by facilitating international learning, serving, and leadership development opportunities specifically for people of African descent.

We will live out our mission by
 - Working with Providence Baptist Church in Monrovia, Liberia to develop and facilitate sister church relationships with African American churches throughout the US.
 - Work with universities to create opportunities for students of color to study abroad in the West African context.
 - Welcome interested individuals or community groups to learn, explore, and connect ministry and/or business investment opportunities in Liberia.
 - To create spaces for healing conversations through the exploration of shared stories and history

Thank you to our partners in the work, all of the faithful financial supporters. We appreciate those who reach out to us with expressions of love, with words of encouragement. And we are blessed because so many are praying for us. May the Lord richly bless you. We thank God for each and every one of you standing with us as we together advance God's Kingdom!.
