About Gary and Ellie

Vision and MIssion

When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,[b Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” (Acts 2:6-11)

This is an important example of how important it is to have the Good News declared in a person’s heart language. It is also one of the reasons that we feel the call to support Bible translation.

We are excited to be a part of Wycliffe Bible Translators and Resonate Global Mission. After serving in a number of other ways, we both feel God leading them in this new direction that will help to serve the Bibleless and change lives through God’s word.

Mission Work

Our assignments are with Wycliffe Bible Translators in the Global Partnership and Advancement Teams and we work out of our home office.

Gary serves as a Strategic Initiatives Consultant, developing relationships, engaging in planning, and serving as a catalyst for creating breakthrough strategies and plans as part of the Global Partnership Team.

Ellie represents Wycliffe as a Senior Philanthropy Advisor with the Advancement Team, supporting missions through prayer and care as she reaches out to donors to encourage and uplift them, cultivating relationships with donors who support Wycliffe projects.
