Caroline Cordova

My Story

Excitement wells in me as I think of the complex diverse world that is awaiting. After many days of longing to use my gift and serve, I prayed one short prayer. I asked God what was next for me. A quiet but clear voice popped into my head “Ministry” Me? Why me? Days later I learned about the ministry in Lithuania. The Lord has provided opportunities for me to get an education in Intercultural studies, serve in refugee communities, and travel abroad; continually preparing my heart for ministry. It has become clear to me this is the path He is laying before me as it aligns with my passions and willing heart. 

Cohort Europe offers a year-long missional experience in which participants are immersed in a local European context and charged to be faithfully present with grassroots mission and ministry organizations. Each participant is linked to other Cohort Europe team members with whom they will communally experience and reflect on their service, learning, support and accountability, and spiritual formation. 

Mission

I will serve at LCC International University, a Christian liberal arts university in Lithuania that serves students from many cultural and religious backgrounds, particularly from Europe and Central Asia, inviting them to understand God’s redemption and saving grace holistically through academics and student life. I’m excited to contribute to this impactful ministry by mentoring, overseeing student leaders, and coordinating events to build community through my role as the Intercultural Program Coordinator. I look forward to learning how to connect with people from around the world, through realizing our common ground and embracing our unique differences.
