The Church of Refugia

We work to remove the corporate, branded, capitalistic language that too many American churches have adopted. We are a people, not a program. We are attuned to the heart language of the individual and we aspire to speak the life, work, death, resurrection and return of Jesus in a way each human God brings to us can hear. 

We are a community of participants not members. We practice presence. We start real and stay there. It's vulnerable, disruptive and uncomfortable at times but people are learning what it really means to be adopted into the family of Jesus Christ.

So, come, have a community meal with us! The joy is palpable, the energy is genuine and yes we do have a piñata at out or annual Holiday Lament and Christmas Party.
