Be a part of cultivating the special education area in Tesoros de Dios and contributing to creating an atmosphere that enriches student learning.

As a special education teacher/consultant, you will be working with a team of Nicaraguan special education teachers every day. There will be opportunities to assist in teaching students, working alongside teachers, implementing changes to create an optimal learning environment, prompting collaboration between areas, and providing support to the program manager.

About Tesoros de Dios:

God’s Treasures (Tesoros de Dios) is a non-profit organization that exists to equip individuals with disabilities to reach their fullest potential. The mission is to support the holistic development of children and youth with disabilities in Nicaragua and build partnerships with families, schools, churches, and communities. 

This is done in a number of ways, including providing weekly services on site in special education, early intervention, physical & occupational therapy, horse therapy, speech & language for around 135 children & adolescents, as well as through an outreach program, working with schools, churches, and communities around Nicaragua, for the inclusion of people with disabilities.
