Meet our Local Mission Leaders

Cindi Fairchild is the Administrative Assistant to the Western U.S. Regional Leader. She has supported God's mission in the region (previously just the West Coast) for almost 18 years as an Administrative Assistant. She provides me (in Seattle, WA) with incredible support from Bellflower, CA where she lives most the year (though she can't wait to get to Idaho in the summer).

Pablo Gaggero is first and foremost a church planter. Originally from Argentina, Pablo has planted multiple churches in the United States, most recently Mision de Fe in Conroe, TX followed by Casa de Oracion in Spring, TX. Pablo will serve as an LML working with Latino leaders and churches in Houston and beyond.

Marc Holland is the pastor of City Life Church in the Midtown neighborhood of Sacramento, CA, a church he planted in 2007. Marc has been a leader in the Sacramento Cluster and has served Classis Central California as the Classis Mission Leader for the past year. Marc will continue that work and serve as a Local Mission Leader supporting and encouraging mission in Classis Central California.

Clarence Presley is the lead pastor of Word of Truth church, a community on mission in Tukwila, Washington (south of Seattle) and beyond. Clarence will be focused as an LML with the Kingdom in Neighborhoods Network (KIN) that he founded and leads in South King County, Washington. Clarence will also collaborate with me in other Classis Pacific Northwest matters and will provide leadership and support for other leaders of color in the Western US region.

Andy Sytsma is the lead pastor of New Life CRC in Spring, Texas (north side of Houston) where he has helped mentor and support numerous church plants around the Houston region. Andy has a World Missions background, having grown up as a missionary kid in Japan. Andy will serve as an LML in the great state of Texas, an area includes what is currently Classis Rocky Mountain South but also El Paso churches, which are currently part of Classis Arizona.

Mirtha Villafane has been serving leaders and churches in what was formerly the West Coast region for many years. Previously, she served as the "Classis Mission Leader" for Classis California South when the Regional Leader role was divided between the 5 west coast Classes. Mirtha pastored Latin American CRC in Anaheim, CA and after time away will be supporting that church half-time as they are in a season of transition. Mirtha will serve as LML in the Classis Greater Los Angeles area. This will overlap with the work she already does as "Hispanic Ministry Developer" with Classis GLA and Classis Cal South. Additionally, Mirtha, who is from Venezuela, will provide support to other Latino leaders in the Western US region.

Autumn Newell lives in Rehoboth, New Mexico where she carries out her calling as a teacher through raising her three children, instructing students in art and creativity, and coaching cross-country runners. She is a deacon and Sunday School coordinator at Ft. Wingate CRC. Autumn brings her gifts of missional listening, concern for the holistic expression of the gospel and passion to identify and support young leaders to her role as the Local Mission Leader for Classis Red Mesa.

Nick In't Hout is the Discipleship & Family Life Pastor at The River CRC in Redlands, CA. He is an innovative and catalytic leader, whether it is youth ministry, teaching, coaching or community leadership. Nick will serve as a Local Mission Leader in Classis California South with an emphasis on developing emerging adult leaders for soulful, imaginative Christian mission.

Pete Armstrong, a native of the Pacific Northwest, is the lead pastor of Parklane CRC in Portland, Oregon. He has extensive experience serving both church plants and established congregations, helping plant Sanctuary Church in Seattle and starting Dwell Church in New York City, as well as serving at Bellevue CRC in Bellevue, WA. Pete is a gifted connector who will serve as an Local Mission Leader for Classis Columbia with an accent on developing missional leaders in the greater Portland area.
