This mission-minded church is deeply involved in carrying out the Great Commission. At the same time, many of our worshipers only spend a few years here before they are transferred. I pray the Lord will use my mission background, pastoral heart, and international travel experience so that I can share the message of Christ’s saving grace to those I meet, as well as those I pastor and come into contact with through the church and various mission agencies. Mission Work I desire to share Christ’s love with more people so that they too will rest fully in His perfect embrace. I believe I can accomplish this in four ways: by multiplying the local evangelistic effort of Escazu Christian Fellowship, by discipling and equipping more leaders for this work (so that when they leave Costa Rica they too will raise up more mission-minded leaders), by assisting the many other missionaries in Central America as they do their work, and by helping to lead short-term mission trips from North America (by being the resident pastor and organizer). By using the gifts the Spirit has given, I will also be drawn closer to Him as my faith is stretched in new ways.
