Be a part of equipping pastors to engage in gospel witness through theological education at Kampala Evangelical School of Theology.

Kampala Evangelical School of Theology (KEST) is looking for a volunteer or partner missionary, 1-3 people, to take up key roles and responsibilities in three areas at their theological school in Kampala, Uganda.

  • Teaching
  • Online or Distance Education
  • Library Services

Upon request, further information about the activities and responsibilities of the positions will be given, along with more detailed qualifications.

Suitable Candidates Could Include:

  • Seminary interns

  • Retired CRC pastors

  • Pastors on sabbatical

  • Individuals considering long term mission work.

Volunteers must be prepared to:

  • Work in a dynamic urban environment with a large population.

  • Work in a hot and humid climate.

  • Work with periodic internet and power outages.

  • Commute to work through chaotic and often unsafe city streets in Kampala

To Teach Classes at KEST:

  • Teaching at Degree Level: Minimum requirement is a post-graduate degree – MA, MDiv, or MTh

  • Teaching at Diploma & Certificate Level: Minimum requirement is a first Bachelor degree

Kampala Evangelical School of Theology (KEST) was established in 1989/90 as a non-denominational, evangelical institution to provide training for Christian men and women for Christian ministry.
