Our Story

From the time of our semesters abroad as missionary interns, we knew that God was going to take us back overseas. He has been preparing us for this opportunity through our studies at Ouachita Baptist University and Denver Seminary and our professional experiences. In the last three years, we have seen God deepen our desire to serve cross-culturally and give us the tools to do that more holistically.

We are excited to get to serve with each other on a team and bring our individual experiences together. Also, we are greatly looking forward to serving and learning from the many different cultures we will be in contact with at LCC International University. We are hopeful that the Lord will use this experience to inform what long term cross-cultural work will look like for us.

Mission

Cohort Europe offers a year-long missional experience in which participants serve in local European ministry organizations and connect with other Cohort Europe team members to reflect on their service and learning.

We will serve at LCC International University, a Christian liberal arts university in Lithuania that serves students from many cultural and religious backgrounds, particularly from Europe and Central Asia. We will work in the campus ministry department, participating in facilitating Bible studies, spiritual mentoring, retreat programs, interfaith interactions, offering pastoral care for students, and communicating the gospel in teaching situations.

- Continued preparation, so that we show up as healthy image bearers

- The many logistics that must be sorted to move our lives overseas

- Safety in all the travel and settling in when we get to Lithuania
